On warm days, the cove's rocky ledges are draped with beachgoers, who tan languorously in the Mediterranean sun between splashing and snorkelling sessions. Strong swimmers can paddle across the lagoon's diamond-clear water to the uninhabited islet of Cominotto, with its sliver of sand as soft as almond flour.
