Visit Bonn
Bonn is a city in western Germany, located on the banks of the Rhine River. It is known for its central Beethoven House, a monument and museum honoring the composer's birthplace. Nearby are a church with a Romanesque cloister and Gothic elements, the Benminster, the pink and gold Altes Rathaus, or Old Town Hall, and the Poppelsdorf Palace with its mineralogical museum. To the south is the Haus der Geschichte with its post-World War II history exhibits.
