Minimum age

If you want to celebrate the coldest season of the year, it is possible from the age of 18! It is possible that some employees will ask you for a valid ID at the entrance, so bring your passport, birth certificate or driver's license.

lockers

The areas are covered and heated, but there is also plenty to do outside! It is therefore useful to be able to put on and take off several layers. You can store these items in the lockers. You can open and close your safe as often as you want. You can reserve a locker online or purchase it at the festival site.

Dress code

No Snowball Winter Festival without the nicest and craziest winter outfits! Ask to knit a hat and get your wrong ski suit from the attic again or order one viafouteskipaks.nl.
Please note it is a winter festival. So make sure you dress warmly. The wind chill can be below zero.

Ways to come to the festival

If you want to come to the festival by public transport, you can take tram 61 (platform H) in the direction of IJsselstein and Nieuwegein from Central Station to Transvec Park. Get off at the Kanaleneiland shopping station and walk towards the park from here. The fast tram also returns to Utrecht Central Station until late.
If you want to come by bike, you can park your bike right next to the festival site! Snowball Winter Festival is easy to access by bike. Cycling is healthy and beneficial for the environment. There is a large bike shed (unguarded) right next to the festival site.
But it is not possible to park at the festival site. The nearest car park is Transferium Westraven. From here you can take tram 60 or 61 (every 10 minutes) and get off at Winkelcentrum Kanaleneiland stop. For €5, you can buy a "parking and travel (including tram)" combination ticket at the machine.

Edible

In this festival, winter food is served, which you can eat in the Bratwurst winter dining area, a hearty meal or other delicious things along with a variety of drinks such as cold beer, wine, flugel or soda... or hot chocolate, coffee or tea.
You can get food and drinks with the help of Snowball coins. You can get this at the cash registers and you can pay with pin or cash.
