Ocaso Festival, Costa Rica
Otaro is a city and port in Shiribashi Prefecture, Hokkaido, Japan, northwest of Sapporo. This city faces Ishikari Bay and the Sea of Japan and has been the main port of this bay for a long time. Otaro is a popular tourist destination with its many historical monuments. Since it's a 25-minute drive from Sapporo, it was recently [when?] enlarged as a bedroom.
As of July 31, 2019, the city has an estimated population of 115,333 and a population density of 474.37 people per square kilometer (1,228.6 people per square mile).
The Ocaso Festival held its first edition in January 2017 in Tamarindo, Guanacaste. Since then, we have collected 5 editions in Guanacaste with more than 7,000 visitors per year and more than 500 DJs booked.
Kicking off just after New Year's on January 6-9, this underground music festival features a lineup of the hottest electronica with a focus on Costa Rican talent. But don't expect them to perform anywhere as big as a stage. Performances take place by the pool, by the beach, and even in the woods, making sure the underground tunes are anything but underground.
If you can tear yourself away from the music, you can also try Tamarindo's surf culture.
