Founded in 1994, the Austin Film Festival (AFF) is an organization in Austin, Texas that focuses on the creative participation of writers in film. Initially, the AFF was the Austin Heart Screenwriters' Conference, which worked to launch the screenwriting profession, which has historically had a smaller presence in the film industry.
